Patricia Tirrell is certified by the Certification Council for Pet Dog Trainers, a full member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, a Tellington TTouch practitioner in training and a member of Delta Society.  Patricia and her two dogs, Abby and Charlie,  live in Durham, North Carolina. Patricia has been a dog trainer since 2004 and has been actively involved with animal rescue groups in North Carolina since 2001.  Both Abby and Charlie have their Canine Good Citizen titles and are registered pet partner teams with Delta Society.  Patricia volunteers at local hospitals as a pet partner team with both dogs several times a month.  Abby is learning water sports, agility and tracking.  Patricia is an active member of the Movers and Shakers Portuguese Water Dog Club, and volunteers with Paws4Ever and Triangle Beagle Rescue.

Patricia has fostered many dogs through Triangle Beagle Rescue and local animal shelters.  Because of the work with local rescue organizations as well as Charlie's special needs Patricia discovered Tellington TTouch as a way of working with companion animals to foster their well-being.

As a child Patricia grew up with a house full of animals.  She was always responsible for the care of the dogs.  Over the years she has always had a great love for all animals, but dogs have remained her passion. She has been blessed to have had German Sheperds, Huskies, Dalmatians, Dachshunds, Portuguese Water Dogs, Beagles and many others be part of her life.
